Founder’s Story: A Journey Through Fashion, A Vision for Change
For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in the fashion industry as a Model, Stylist, NYFW,SHFW event organizer also for international brands like Swarovski across the world, from San Francisco to NYC, Shanghai to Amsterdam, and now in the beautiful city of Innsbruck. Fashion has always been more than just clothing to me, it’s a language, a form of self-expression, and a powerful way to connect cultures and people.
Graduating from a prestigious fashion school in California, I set out on a journey to explore the stories that fashion tells in different corners of the world. I’ve seen firsthand how style evolves across cities, how trends are born, and how fashion gives individuals the freedom and confidence to express who they are. But along the way, I also witnessed the dark side, the waste, the overproduction, and the disconnect between creativity and sustainability.
That’s when the idea for ThreadLynx was born.
I saw potential in what others saw as waste. But I also realized that not everyone had the time or skills to create something new. What if there was a way to connect people with independent designers who could upcycle their old clothes into fresh, one-of-a-kind pieces? What if there was a place where we could learn and grow ,make positive impact on our planet and be a changemaker ourselves.
So, I set out to create a platform that redefines fashion—where creativity meets sustainability, and where unused products get a second life instead of ending up in landfills.
Today, Threadlynx is a not only a platform for fashion but for all Upcycling Passionist. Where upcyclers and dreamers could co- create one-of-a-kind pieces. Where everyone could learn how to upcycle and make a positive impact on the planet we live in.
